Dr Hannah Maher has decided to retire from 18/7/2023

Dr Maher has decided to hang up her stethoscope, so to speak.  Hannah believes the “the essence of a good life is good health” so the time has now come for her to concentrate on her own health plus everything else she loves and enjoys – family, cooking and reading.

Please see her goodbye message below:

My lovely patients,

Thank you for allowing me to care for you all over the last 30 or so years.

I realise how privileged I was to be allowed to be involved with you and your families.

To be with you through all yours fears and anxieties , your joys and your grief.

I know how deep and sacred that is and I am forever humbled and grateful to you all.

I’m very sorry, I wasn’t able to say goodbye in person, but circumstances certainly do alter courses.

All the doctors at Red Hill are fantastic, and I know you will be looked after beautifully.

In the meantime, if you see me at woollies please say hello.

Regards and best wishes

Hannah Maher
