Tej graduated with his MBBS from the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra in 2011. Since then he has spent several years working in the hospital system mainly in the areas of Intensive Care and General Medicine at both the QEII and Mater Hospitals in Brisbane. In 2017 he transitioned to general practice and received his fellowship with the RACGP in 2019.
Dr Tej also has an interest in Musculoskeletal medicine, and in 2016 he completed a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine with UQ. This goes hand in hand with his interest in preventative health, which he believes is an essential component to optimise one’s quality of life.
