Red Hill Doctors Surgery currently has Pfizer Covid vaccines available for 12 years and over ONLY.
Appointments with your regular GP is required for all Covid vaccinations.
To be eligible for a 4th Covid dose, you must be 30yrs or over.
It MUST also be more than 3 months since your 3rd Covid vaccination and/or positive Covid infection to receive a 4th dose.
If you book online, please use the Vaccination appointment type and clearly indicates you’re coming for 4th Covid dose only. If you require a consultation add 4th Covid dose + consult to the appointment notes. Otherwise you can email reception@redhilldoctors.com.au or ring 33692444 to speak to our Reception staff to book an appointment.

- stay/isolate at home until you can do a RAT to confirm a negative or positive result
- only call Triple Zero if you experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing/breathlessness, chest pain, fainting or dizziness, or any other medical emergency not related to COVID-19

The Doctors respectfully request patients adhere to the following guidelines when entering the Practice. This is to protect everyone including the most vulnerable in the community, practice staff and the doctors themselves:
Masks MUST be worn at all times in the Practice.
It is important your mask is fitted correctly and covers your nose and mouth whilst in the practice. Please do not remove your mask for any reason unless directed by your Doctor. To continue to keep our most vulnerable patients safe, this will continue to be a requirement.
Waiting to see your Doctor.
Asymptomatic patients can wait in the practice for their appointment however symptomatic or actuely unwell patients must ring first then wait in their car to be triaged by their Doctor and/or practice Nurse.
DO NOT MAKE A FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENT IF THE PATIENT AND/OR PARENT/GUARDIAN/CARER/OTHER HAS THE FOLLOWING:
- tested positive in the last 7 days using Rapid Antigen Test RAT or PCR through Pathology lab, or
- been in close contact in the last 5 days with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19 via RAT or PCR, or
- loss of smell and/or taste, and/or
- cough, and/or
- sore throat, and/or
- runny nose, and/or
- temperature (fever), and/or
- shortness of breath, and/or
- vomiting or nausea, and/or
- diarrhea, and/or
- fatigue, and/or
- joint or muscle aches and pains, and/or
- loss of appetite
Patients who fit one or more of the above the criteria, must make a Telehealth appointment. Fees are the same as Face to Face appointments. The patient will receive a Medicare rebate if they have been seen by a Doctor in the practice in the last 12 months or currently testing positive to COVID. If you’re Covid positive you must either provide a PCR result or register your positive RAT result on the Queensland Health website and forward a copy of their emailed confirmation to reception@redhilldoctors.com.au so we can pass onto your Doctor for your appointment.
If you haven’t been seen in the practice for 12 months or Covid positive, your out of pocket will be the full consultation fee.

Pfizer vaccines are available through general practice appointments for existing Red Hill Practice patients.
Pfizer vaccine eligibility is for:

12yrs and over Pfizer vaccine appointments can be made Monday to Friday with your GP as a standard general practice appointment.

All COVID-19 Pfizer booster doses are for 16 years & over only and it must be minimum of 3 months from your 2nd or 3rd dose depending on age.
